David A. Keyes
David focuses on commercial, business, and real estate disputes in state, federal and administrative courts across the State of Michigan. He has extensive experience in contract, construction, commercial goods, and agricultural cases as well as personal injury defense. He has defended clients in binding arbitration dealing with a variety of litigation issues. David’s clients are involved in many industries, including packaging, manufacturing, construction, and agriculture. He has also successfully assisted municipalities with their litigation matters.
David is a former member of the McLaren Port Huron Hospital Board of Directors and during his tenure received the Michigan Health and Hospital Association Excellence in Governance Fellowship. He is past president of both the YMCA of the Blue Water Area, Port Huron Jaycees, and St. Clair County Estate Planning Council. David also has served in various capacities in the Community Foundation of St. Clair County. He is a member of the Port Huron Golf Club.

David and his wife Melissa are both attorneys. They have two daughters, Kendyl and Camille. David formerly coached AAU girls’ basketball for the Huron Hurricanes Basketball Club. His teams travelled across the Midwest playing in various tournaments.
