David C. Whipple

David’s practice centers on business law and organization, health care law and business mediation and arbitration. David’s focus is always to bring value to the situations that his clients are faced with.

David knows how business really works. Several of the businesses he represents as general counsel have annual revenues of more than $100 million. He taught at Walsh College for over 20 years as an adjunct professor of business law and has taught numerous seminars in business start-up issues. He is not only a business lawyer, but also is a business person himself, having successfully completed real estate developments, owned a training company in Nashville, TN, and co-founded and co-owned an internet technology company.

David has served the law profession as president of the St. Clair County Bar Association, as an elected member of the State Bar of Michigan Representative Assembly, and for over 15 years, as a Hearing Panel member for the Michigan Attorney Disciplinary Board.

In the St. Clair County community, he has served as president of the Port Huron/Marysville Chamber of Commerce, as a member of the board and treasurer of Port Huron Hospital, as president of Blue Water Council of Boy Scouts, and as trustee of the Dioceses of Eastern Michigan – Episcopal Church.
